How does it work?

Once your flowers are received, they will be deconstructed and pressed for at least 5 weeks in order to ensure all moisture is removed. Flowers are then removed from the press, and Marigold & Moon will reach out to confirm frame color and design style. Your florals will be arranged in your frame using the best florals produced, and photos of proposed designs will be sent to you before final framing.

How long does it take?

The entire process takes around 3 months. Please keep in mind this can be impacted by a number of factors such as promptness of responding and number of revision requests.

Do you receive shipped flowers? Will you ship an arrangement when it is complete?

Not at this time. We only service clients in the DMV area who can drop off & pick up their florals and frames.

What types of flowers preserve the best?

There are certain types of flowers and colors that press best- but we can accommodate most requests. We do not press the following: succulents, vegetables or fruits, orchids, giant lilies, and anthurium.

Fresher flowers press better! The sooner the flowers can be pressed, the higher likelihood for color retention and less browning. White flowers have the highest chance of browning, therefor we offer the option of color correction on white flowers only.
